digital imaging faq's
1. What is Plastic Surgery Digital Imaging?
Digital Imaging simulates your potential results of cosmetic
surgery and is an excellent tool to guide discussions with
your cosmetic surgeon. After you submit photos of yourself
to our digital imaging specialists, special software and advanced,
in-depth knowledge of plastic surgery is employed to digitally
alter your photographs. Your "before and after"
images are then returnned to you via a secure, private web
address.
2. Who can benefit from Plastic Surgery Digital
Imaging?
Anyone that has ever wondered what they might look like after
having undergone a particular procedure or anyone who is considering
cosmetic surgery can benefit by seeing their digitally enhanced
"after" photos. Cosmetic Surgery Imaging is useful
for both men and women for a variety of different procedures
of the face, breast, abdomen, backside, legs, and for hair
replacement surgery.
3. How much does Plastic Surgery Imaging
cost?
The fee for plastic surgery imaging is different based on
which procedure(s) you choose. The costs range from $19 to
$49 each, and include 2 views, such as front and profile,
or front and angled views.
4. Who performs the actual Digital Imaging?
An intimate knowledge of cosmetic surgery procedures is required
in order to understand and realistically represent how each
procedure affects the shadows, texture, and overall potential
result of surgery. At PlasticSurgeryImaging.com, all Digital
Imaging is performed by specialists who each have at least
5 years experience assisting in the plastic surgery operating
room, as well as years of experience with computer graphics.
5. How long does it take to see the finished
images?
Every attempt will be made to process your Cosmetic Surgery
Digital Imaging order in 3 business days or less. In most
cases, your finished photos will be available in 1 or 2 days.
6. How do I get my finished images?
Once your images are completed, you will be sent an email
containing jpeg files with your completed images. Because
your images are delivered electronically, there is no additional
charge for shipping or delivery.
7. Do you ever post my pictures on your website
for public viewing?
All sample photos that are on display are posted only with
prior consent from the subject of the photo. At no time are
your pictures displayed for public viewing without your prior
explicit, written consent.
8. How do you protect my confidentiality?
To ensure your safety and confidentiality in the shopping
cart, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology: the industry
standard for transferring sensitive information over the Internet.
Our secure server software encrypts (scrambles) all of your
personal information including credit card number, name and
address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels
over the Internet.
